Myth: We all have some level of OCD
Myth: We all have some level of OCD
If you really want to get under my skin, make some type of easy breezy joke about needing things to be orderly “because you’re super OCD.” It’s done all the time, I see it daily, whether it’s on TV, in social media or in daily conversations.
That doesn’t make it right. OCD one of the things my family has been faced with, and making light of it is infuriating.
So I’m doing what I know to be true, when I see something that’s being perpetuated, I’m going to seek to make a change. Because we can’t do better until we know better, and when we do, that’s when change happens.
Join me today to gain a better understanding of OCD, and you can have empathy for those who don’t think it’s funny to make light of OCD anymore.
